Write Your Story and Watch Your Purpose Emerge

In the last few weeks, I’ve started to write my next book which begins with my story.

This process has given me so many insights and clarity about my own path and how I’m meant to serve.

It made me realize how beneficial writing your story can be.

Whether or not you want to write a book, taking some time now to start journaling about the most important parts of your life will shed more light on your path than you can imagine.

I highly recommend carving out some time in the next two weeks to journal or write about some turning point in your life.

Let the words flow onto the page without any judgment or concern about grammar or how it might sound to anyone else.

Write until your heart’s content.

Then with an open mind, read your story and let yourself reflect on all the ways this chapter of your life shaped you into who you are today.

Ask yourself what other things occurred during this period that may have affected your circumstances and choices.

Then allow yourself to journal or write some more as you gain more perspective and wisdom.

Even though it may not seem like it at the time, it’s often our biggest challenges or transitions that bring the greatest gifts and move us toward our life’s purpose.

Understanding your journey is a key element to being able to embody your role as a leader.

Right now, our world needs us all to step into leadership in the unique way each of us is meant to.

If you have any questions about writing your story, post your question below.

And please share below and let us know what comes to you when you consider writing your story and when you plan to make time in your schedule to write.

I would love to hear from you!
